The week before Valentine's Day, I got to travel to New York for work! We only had one day in the city before we went to Connecticut, but my ONE day was great!
We saw Guys and Dolls on Broadway with Oliver Platt and Lauren Graham (from Gilmour Girls). AND leave it to me...I locked myself out of the theatre on a 3rd floor balcony, and the doors back INTO the theatre didn't have handles!! After banging on the doors for about 20 minutes, a nice little man let me inside, FINALLY! Sometimes I think things like this only happen to me...

And then for Valentine's Day...
My sweet hubby surprised me with a one hour massage appointment and a dozen roses in the morning! Then we went to Pesto Cafe for dinner - my fave! We knew they didn't take reservations, but we thought we could wait it out at the bar. When we arrived at 6:15pm - they said it was a two and a half hour wait!!! Luckily, my sister and brother-in-law had gotten there at 5pm and were about to be seated! So Josh and I - along with the Cottons - crashed their V-Day dinner! And an extra bonus for the weekend - Josh finally got his wedding ring back!
